OPEN Incorporated, makers of the SafetyPAD suite of software products for Fire and Emergency Medical Services, announced that it has been selected by the North Central EMS Cooperative (NCEMSC) in Minnesota as a preferred vendor for electronic patient care reporting services (http://www.ncemsc.org/)

The non-profit offers the advantage of volume pricing discounts on a wide range of EMS products and services to more than 4,000 agencies in 50 states.

“Our members include ambulance services, fire departments, first responders, police/sheriff departments, industry, clinics, hospitals and other related agencies,” said NCEMSC Executive Director Mickey Schulte. “We have stringent requirements for our vendor partners to be offered to our association. SafetyPAD is one of the most reputable technology platforms and they have an outstanding ePCR product and we’re happy to have them as part of our cooperative.”

All NCEMSC contracts for EMS supplies and services are awarded through a competitive bidding or quotation process, ensuring the best pricing on quality products and services. The non-profit also prides itself on customer service both before and after all purchases are made through its system.

“Joining NCEMSC made perfect sense as our missions are in line with one another,” said SafetyPAD Chief Operating Officer Scott Streicher. “Our array of electronic patient care reporting offerings is designed to be both cost effective as well as the most productive in the industry. This enables first responders to focus on patients, not paperwork, while responding to calls. We’re proud to be a member of NCEMSC.”
