Vision 20/20, an organization dedicated to filling in gaps in fire prevention, has designed a new website which is posted at www.strategicfire.org.
The organization has not only redesigned the look, but the navigation to help finding information more intuitive. As site developers transfered the material over from the old site, they were amazed at just how much information there the site contained. Since 2008, people have shared an incredible number of reports, overviews, videos and presentations that we have catalogued on the site, and the group really appreciate these contributions.
Vision 20/20 started in 2008 and brought together a number of people with the same idea-closing the gaps that we all see in fire prevention. This is certainly a daunting task, and not one that will be done quickly-but it is possible.
Since that time, the group has been incredibly busy, hosting a number of symposia and seminars, helping to launch Community Risk Reduction programs in a number of cities across the country, and creating tools and resources that fire departments can use in making their communities safer.
