The Lemont, IL, Fire Protection District has taken delivery of a Ferrara MVP custom rescue pumper built on a Ferrara Igniter custom chassis with a Cummins ISL-425 engine and Allison 3000EVS transmission. Components include a 1,500-gpm Waterous CSU pump, Fire Research Pump Boss pressure governor, deck gun plumbing with a Task Force Tips Extend-A-Gun riser pipe, 750-gallon UPF poly water tank, Whelen LED warning lights, Whelen LED Traffic Advisor, Go Light remote-control spotlight, On Scene Solutions LED compartment lights, eight-kilowatt Harrison hydraulic generator; Will-Burt Night Scan Chief light tower and Hannay electric-rewind cord reel.
