Quickstop Offers New Tool To Shut Down Sprinklers

Aug. 26, 2013

Quickstop, a California-based tool maker, has developed a commercial spinkler device that can stop the flow of water quickly minimizing water damage.

The new tool, called Talon, works like specially modified locking pliers and works on half inch and three quarter inch sprinkler heads. It is tested to 350 psi and can be pole-mounted for safer operations, eliminating the need for a ladder.

It also works on heads that are intact, damaged or sheared as well as upright, pendant and sidewall heads.

No sprinkler knowledge is needed for used as the tool aligns itself every time.
