HAIX Introduces New USAR Boot

HAIX®, a leading manufacturer of innovative and high quality fire fighting, rescue, law enforcement, hunting, and forestry footwear would like to introduce the all new Special Fighter USAR, a quad certified, multi-use boot for use in the most demanding and challenging rescue environments.

The newly released Special Fighter USAR from HAIX® offers the latest technology in a quad-certified boot. The all new, patented HAIX® Fast Lacing Fit System allows independent adjustment between the upper and lower boot and the ability to tuck the lace ends into a side pocket.

This system offers not only a quick fit, but a correct fit. Embedded with a lightweight, flexible steel sole for puncture protection, you won’t even know its there, and yet it offers peace of mind when dangers of nail penetration exist.

The steel toe is rated ASTM Class 75 and offers a roomier fit along with a profiled rubber toe cap for excellent abrasion resistance while crawling or climbing.

The newly designed external metatarsal protector offers optimal protection for the delicate metatarsal bones of the foot and compliments the other safety features of the boot.

The leather upper is both waterproof and breathable, and the CROSSTECH inner liner offers the ultimate protection from chemicals and bloodborne pathogens. Special Fighter USAR is certified to the new standards: NFPA 1951-2013, NFPA 1992-2012, NFPA 1977-2011, and NFPA 1999-2013.
