INVISTA’s TECGEN has teamed with MUNICIPAL EMERGENCY SERVICES (MES) to introduce TECGEN Rescue80 garments, dual-certified personal protective equipment (PPE) available exclusively through MES. The gear is dual certified for NFPA 1951 technical rescue and NFPA 1977 wildland applications and gives firefighters an alternative to wearing bunker gear on every call. The lightweight gear is ideal for wildland, search and rescue, extrication, MVAs, traffic control and incident command. Available in black or tan, the garments contain new features to promote visibility and functionality by utilizing three-inch Reflexite reflective trim and multiple advanced pockets.
