We operate out of a single station and provide fire protection to rural, suburban residential, commercial and industrial areas. We are a combination department, with most personnel being paid-on-call.
The department provides fire, rescue, hazardous materials, and public fire education services to the City of Lapeer, as well the Townships of Lapeer, Mayfield, and Oregon. In addition, full time inspectors conduct fire prevention inspections at all business, commercial and industrial occupancies in the City of Lapeer and Lapeer Township.
