YADKIN CO. FIRE MARSHAL'S OFFICE proudly protects 35000 people living in an area of 336 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a paid status.
The Yadkin County Fire Marshal's Office is responsible for fire inspections in the County and all municipalities except for the Town of Arlington. We are also responsible for fire investigations within the County. We also assist the municipalities on investigations when requested. Our office assists the Volunteer Fire Departments with budgeting, training, State inspection requirements, etc. The Fire Marshal's Office is liason between the VFD's and County Government.
