MA Firefighters Free Man Stuck in Snowblower

Dec. 3, 2019
After getting the man's hand unstuck, the Lawrence firefighters not only reassembled his snowblower, but also shoveled his driveway.

Firefighters in one Massachusetts community had to help a man remove his hand from a snowblower after it became stuck inside the machine.

Lawrence Fire Chief Brian Moriarty reminded people not to stick their hands in snowblowers in a tweet on Tuesday as Massachusetts dug out from a massive snowstorm the past two days.

“Lawrence fire had a man with his hand stuck in a snowblower this morning,” the chief wrote.

Firefighters “carefully extricated” the man’s hand and sent him to the hospital.

The firefighters then shoveled the man’s driveway and put his snowblower back together.

“Please don’t stick your hand in a snowblower,” the chief wrote.
