Palm Beach County Fire Rescue divers pulled the people from the West Boca lake Thursday night.

Two people were hospitalized Thursday night after the car they were in went into a lake in West Boca.

Shortly after 10 p.m., Palm Beach County Fire Rescue was called to the scene in the Whisper Walk community near Springlake Drive and Palm Lane about reports of a vehicle into a lake, said Capt. Albert Borroto, spokesman for the agency.

The community is west of Florida’s Turnpike and north of Yamato Road.

“First arriving firefighters reported a vehicle approximately 25-30 feet into a lake,” Borroto said.

Rescue divers located the two people and brought them to shore where paramedics were waiting.

The two adults were taken to a hospital.

No other information was immediately available.
