A horse was rescued after being found in a canal Thursday in Loxahatchee Groves, FL.

LOXAHATCHEE GROVES, FL—Palm Beach County Fire Rescue firefighters rescued a horse that fell into a canal in Loxahatchee Groves on Thursday night.

The horse was found partially submerged in a canal in the 14000 block of Okeechobee Boulevard. It was removed safely and turned over to the care of Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control, Fire Rescue reports.
