Memorial Service Set for Fallen IA Firefighter

The wife of Lt. Eric Hosette has been working closely with the city and the Clinton Fire Department to plan the public visitation and service.

CLINTON — A public visitation and memorial service have been set to honor Clinton Fire Lt. Eric Hosette.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church, located at 439 Third Ave South, Clinton. A memorial service is scheduled to take place at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Clinton's Riverview Park, next to the band shell. Please make plans to arrive early due to estimated attendance, city officials said. There will be more details on parking, routes the procession will take, and final internment in future press releases.

Kellene (Kelly) Hosette and her family have been actively involved with all the elements of the planning for the services, and she has been working closely with the Clinton Fire Department and city staff on all the other administrative details that are required at this time, according to a press release from City Administrator Matt Brooke.
