DERBY, CT—A firefighter received minor injuries while fighting a blaze at a Hawkins Street building early Monday morning.
The call came in shortly after 3 a.m. for a fire at 42 Hawkins St.
When firefighters arrived, they found a working fire on the second-floor of the building.
Firefighters stayed on the scene for about an hour.
While no civilian injuries were reported, one firefighter suffered a minor injury on scene.
The Derby Fire Marshall’s office is investigating the cause of the fire.
