Pacific Helmets (New Zealand) Ltd and Ready Rack have teamed up to bring a superior line of structural firefighting helmets to the U.S. market through the Ready Rack distribution network. Pacific Helmets (New Zealand) Ltd has over three decades of experience in the design and manufacture of premium safety helmets. They strive to meet, set, and exceed the highest possible standards for technical safety performance in firefighting and rescue helmet design and manufacture.
There are three fundamental aspects that drive Pacific Helmet’s design process; International Standards, Practical requirements of firefighters and rescue personnel, and Aesthetics comfort and safety.
Pacific Helmets prides itself on the ability to provide helmets that are designed around all three of these aspects. Their flexible manufacturing process and an innovative design team allows them to offer customers the ability to customize helmets to suit their exact requirements and preferences. Ready Rack will be introducing three high quality structural firefighting Pacific Helmets to the product line for distribution. These helmet models include the traditional F18, F15, and F6. All of the helmets are NFPA 1971:2018 certified.
The F18 model is traditional in styling but made up of a tough fiberglass outer shell with a modern and innovative padded inner design. This helmet also comes with an articulating ratchet band system that grips your head like no other helmet and has other standout features such as comms compatibility attachment points, a two-point adjustable chin strap with postman slide and quick release buckle, and one touch eye protection (OTEP™) that stores away inside the helmet shell and drops down when needed. The F18 is the only traditional helmet certified to both NFPA 1971:2018 (Structural) and NFPA 1951:2013 (Technical Rescue).
The F15 is the latest in firefighting helmet design. The Euro/Jet style helmet is constructed of Dupont Kevlar™ and fiberglass composite outer shell with a modern and innovative padded inner design. The composite shell provides impact and penetration protection as well as a lightweight material that is totally resistant to chemical, UV, heat, and flame. This helmet also comes with other standout features like comms compatibility attachment points, a four-point adjustable chin strap and quick release buckle. The F15 comes standard with both internal one touch eye protection (OTEP™) plus a face shield that both stores away inside the helmet shell and will fully drop down over a BA mask giving double heat and impact protection to the wearer when needed. The F15 is fully certified to NFPA 1971:2018 (Structural) and NFPA 1951:2013 (Technical Rescue).
The F6 model is considered a modern/metro style helmet and is also another fiberglass shell helmet with a modern padded inner design. Some of this helmet’s features include a one touch eye protector (OTEP™) along with an optional face shield for extra protection. The F6 model is certified to NFPA 1971.
