INNOTEX® GRAY™ Hood 25 Nano – NOT MADE WITH PFAS is a light & flexible 1-layer trilaminate hood made with DuPont™ Nomex® Nano Flex. It features a nanofiber-based particulate barrier that stops particulates at 99.8% as small as 0.1 microns, all with remarkable breathability & high thermal heat loss value to keep firefighters at maximum comfort in any situation.
The hood’s ergonomic and air-permeable design includes an asymmetric length of 24" at the front and 22" at the back to guarantee chest and shoulder coverage. This is paired with a head contour design for an optimal seal with SCBA masks. A heavy-duty ½" elastic in the face opening provides a perfect fit, stretching for comfortable wear without loss of shape. Comfort is further enhanced with strong, yet low-profile flatlock seams sewn with spun Nomex thread.
Best of all, the hood maintains its 99.8% particulate-blocking efficiency, even after 250 washes – even at the seams.
