Dec. 6, 2019
Koehler Brightstar has announced its Vision Flood headlamp, utilizing a super bright COB emitter with one central flood beam and high and low modes.

HANOVER TOWNSHIP, PA- KOEHLER BRIGHTSTAR, LLC announces the Vision Flood headlamp. Utilizing a super bright Chip On Board (COB) emitter the KBS Vision Flood has one central flood beam with a high and low mode. Operate the light the traditional way by engaging the large top push-button switch or use the sensing mode. Two sensors on the front of the light are motion detectors and can switch the light on with a wave of your hand.

Imagine you are repairing your vehicle in the driveway or garage and the light is diminishing. Your hands are greasy, and you are juggling a couple tools. There is no need to touch the headlamp if you have switched on the sensing mode before you started. You only need to wave your hand in front of the headlamp to switch the headlamp on and wave it again to increase the lumens. With a high beam of 125 lumens on the brightest mode it is all the light you need to see under the hood or see around you. Switch on the low mode, 15 lumens, if you are working up close near a brighter surface area and do not want any light backsplash.

The soft silicone lined headlamp band is comfortable to wear bareheaded and provides a solid grip on a cap or helmet. The low-profile design fits under most visors and shields and it can pivot down to see the ground. Its IPx4 rated water-resistant design is suitable for outdoor use in wet environments. The Vision Flood operates on (2) AAA-Cell Alkaline Batteries and weighs only 3 oz. with batteries. It is available in Hi -Vis green color.
