Bloody clothing and gloves were found in the 2017 Honda Civic of West Covina firefighter John Brian Mananghaya Aguila, who was reported missing last week.

Three people were detained by authorities stemming from a California firefighter who disappeared last week.

West Covina firefighter John Brian Mananghaya Aguila was reported missing by his family Saturday, KCAL-TV reports. By that time, he hadn't been to his home or reported to his job with the California Bureau of Land Management since Thursday.

Aguila's car a white, 2017 Honda Civic had been impounded in San Dimas, and video footage from a security camera shows a man walking away from the car. Police said the person in the video is not Aguila.

A search of the Civic found blood-soaked clothing and gloves, according to KCAL. Fingerprints also were found in the car, and a search warrant was served at a house in La Verne based on that discovery.

Police detained three people who were inside the house, and one of the people there was seen in the security video of the car, KCAL added.

Anyone with information about Aguila should call the West Covina Police Department at (626) 939-8557.
