FFs Injured in Transformer Blast at CA Restaurant

An electrical issue at a restaurant in Huntington Beach caused a series of explosions that left two firefighters and two civilians with minor injuries.

An electrical transformer explosion and fire forced the evacuation of an Old World Village restaurant in Huntington Beach, CA, during an Oktoberfest celebration, forcing the evacuation of hundreds.

Two firefighters, who according to authorities, were in complete turnout gear, suffered some minor injuries from the heat from the blast. Two civilians were also hurt in the blast and ensuing fire.
