In Quarters: Rogers, AR, Station 2

March 22, 2016
Rogers Fire Station 2 was built as a drive through station on a compact site.

This station received the Satellite Station Silver Award in Firehouse's 2015 Station Design Awards. Find the full list of winners here.

Rogers Fire Station 2 replaces a 50-year old substation located in an adjacent residential neighborhood. It is home to Engine 2, Rescue 2 and Engine 8.

The design program dictated a drive through station on a compact site resulting in a two-story design.

Unique station features include fast operating bi-fold apparatus bay doors and a slide pole access to apparatus, both reducing response times. The upper living area includes an outdoor patio for cooking and recreation
