This section features radio transmissions of FDNY on the morning of September 11th, 2001. The recordings took place between 8:45 and 9:58 a.m. and were recently made available by the Port Authority of NY & NJ. Virtually all of the transmssions heard took place in the South Tower where units operated to rescue those trapped.
