Gas Line Leak Sparks Fire on California Street

ROSEVILLE, Calif. -- After a leak in a 4-inch gas line caused the surface of a Roseville street to catch fire, sparking flames that shot up six feet from the underground pipe, crews finally managed to shut off the gas around 2 a.m. Wednesday. Firefighters were called to Cirby Way and Riverside Avenue just before 7 p.m. Tuesday, they said.
