Texas Firefighter Recalls Off-Duty Rescue

San Benito Firefighter Joe Ramos had just finished a 24-hour shift on Thursday morning, but didn't hesitate to jump into action when he saw smoke coming from a Harlingen house during his drive home.Ramos parked his car and ran toward the smoke. A woman outside told him that her elderly grandfather was trapped inside."Obviously, there was something wrong," Ramos told KGBT-TV. "So I ran over there and the lady kept saying he's still in there."
