Documents show St. Paul's fire chief was reprimanded for retaliation after an employee's complaint.

New documents show that St. Paul Fire Chief Tim Butler was reprimanded for retaliating against an employee who filed a complaint against him.

St. Paul Firefighters Union president Mike Smith responded to the written reprimand, saying in a statement that, "firefighters have a stressful enough job as it is and to put up with harassment and retaliation from a fire chief is unacceptable."

Chief Butler was also in the news this week over a derogatory comment in an email to a firefighter.
