Bluffton, SC, Fire Dept. Puts 10 New Pumpers in Service

The Bluffton Township, SC, Fire District has placed into service 10 2016 Pierce Custom Enforcer pumpers.

The Bluffton Township, SC, Fire District has placed into service 10 2016 Pierce Custom Enforcer pumpers each outfitted with a 1,500 gpm Waterous single-stage pump and 750-gallon UPF poly tank. Each pumper is powered by a Cummins 400 ISL engine coupled with an Allison EVS 3000 transmission.

The apparatus are also equipped with Command Light Mast w/ Whelen PFP2 LED light heads, speed lays w/ removable trays, lift-up aluminum hose bed cover, Amdor LED compartment lights, TFT Extend-a-Gun, Whelen LED light package w/ 600 series light heads and front Roto -O- Beams, Whelen LED PFP1 SM Light Heads on Cab and Body.

Each apparatus will serve a rapidly growing district that encompasses 246 square miles with eight stations and a total staff of 132 personnel along the beautiful coast of South Carolina. The pumpers were sold by Robbie Fore Spartan Fire & Emergency Apparatus.
