The Scandia Valley, MN, Fire Department in Cushing has taken delivery of a Custom Fire top-mount pumper built on a Freightliner chassis.
The rig is powered by a 360-hp Cummins L9 engine with an Allison 3000 EVS Transmission.
The apparatus body is constructed of stainless steel with a stainless-steel frame and concealed bolted construction.
Fire suppression components include a 1,250-gpm Waterous CSPA pump with a FoamPro 1600 single-agent foam system. There is a 1,000-gallon water tank and a 20-gallon foam cell.
Emergency warning devices and exterior lighting are by Whelen.
