The Milford Fire Department has taken delivery of a custom-built KME Pumper.

The Milford, MA, Fire Department has taken delivery of a custom-built KME Pumper built on a Severe Service XMFD chassis.

The rig is powered by a 500-hp Cummins X12 engine and an Allison 4000 EVS transmission with Hendrickson axle and suspension components.

Fire suppression components include a 1,750-gpm Waterous CSUC20D pump with a 750-gallon UPF poly water tank, and a Waterous Aquis 3.0 Foam System with a 30-gallon foam cell.

Scene lighting includes FRC Spectra lights along with a HIVIZ Firetech 72-inch LED Brow Light, emergency lighting is by Code 3.
