The Suffolk Fire Department has taken delivery of a custom-built Pierce aerial.

The Suffolk, VA, Fire Department has taken delivery of a custom-built Pierce 107’ Ascendant aerial built on an Enforcer chassis.

The rig is powered by a 500-hp Cummins X12 engine with an Allison 4500 series transmission and TAK-4 independent front suspension.

The aerial features a 1,500-gpm Waterous pump with a 200-gallon poly water tank.

Emergency lighting includes a Whelen Freedom LED light bar with Whelen C6L LED warning lights located around the vehicle.

Power is provided by a Harrison 8kw MCR hydraulic generator and Hannay electric cord reels with 200-feet of cable. Scene lighting is provided by HiViz LED lights with Whelen Micro Pioneer LED tracking lights on the aerial.
