Oceanville, NJ, Volunteers Receive $751K 79-foot Aerial Quint

The Oceanville Volunteer Fire Company, Galloway Township Atlantic County, NJ, have taken delivery of a 2017 Ferrara Cinder 79-foot rear-mount quint.

The Oceanville Volunteer Fire Company, Galloway Township Atlantic County, NJ, have taken delivery of a 2017 Ferrara Cinder 79-foot rear-mount quint. It is built on a four-door, six-occupant, climate-controlled cab with a raised roof and full-height rear doors and Bostrom firefighter seats. It is powered by a 425-hp Cummins engine and an Allison EVS3000P transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale QMAX175-23S single-stage pump, a UPF Poly Tank III 500-gallon water tank, a Hale FoamLogix 3.3 foam system with a 30-gallon Class A foam cell and a Pump Boss pressure governor. Other equipment includes R.O.M. shutter doors, Kussmaul battery conditioner, Whelen LED scene lighting, Hannay electric reel, Federal Signal rear facing camera, a side stacker hose bed, rear aerial waterway inlet, slide out tool trays, electric waterway controls, and twin-front LED brow lights. It was sold for $751,000 through FF1, Belmar, NJ, by Rick Pumphrey.
