The Lewisville, TX, Fire Department has taken delivery of a new mid-mount 95-foot aerial platform built by Pierce on a Velocity cab and chassis.

The Lewisville, TX, Fire Department has taken delivery of a new mid-mount 95-foot aerial platform built by Pierce on a Velocity cab and chassis. The aerial is powered by a 525-hp DD 13 Detroit Diesel engine and an Allison transmission. For firefighting, it has a Hale 1,500 gpm pump and a 300-gallon tank. Other equipment includes an Onan 10,000-watt generator, Whelen warning and scene lights, Hannay reels and a Federal Q mechanical siren.
