Englewood, FL, Fire Department has put in service a 70-foot, single-axle aerial built by Sutphen Fire Apparatus.

Englewood, FL, Fire Department has put in service a 70-foot, single-axle aerial built by Sutphen Fire Apparatus. It is built on a Sutphen four-door cab with a 10-inch raise roof. It is powered by a Cummins ISL 9 450-hp engine and an Allison Gen 5 transmission. It is also equipped with a Hale Qflo 2,000-gpm single-stage pump and a 500-gallon tank and 75 cubic feet of compartment space. Other equipment include Whelen warning lights, Fire Research Corp. scene lighting, a Kussmaul battery conditioner, Energizer 3,200-watt generator and a Federal Signal Q2B mechanical siren.
