    Johnson County, KS, Fire District No. 1 has taken delivery of a new mid-mount 100-foot Pierce Ascendant aerial tower built on an Arrow XT chassis.

    This heavy-duty rig features a Cummins X15 (565-hp) engine and a TAK-4 independent front suspension with a Waterous Midship (2,000-gpm) pump and 300-gallon water tank.
