The members of the Community Volunteer Fire Company, Virginville, PA, have put in service a 2017 Rosenbauer 78-foot Viper rear-mount aerial. It is built on a Rosenbauer RBM Commander 3000 Series cab and chassis, powered by a Cummins 450-hp ISL engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Darley PSM 1,500-gpm single-stage pump and a 400-gallon tank. It has a Smart Aerial joystick control system, a 500-pound tip load wet or dry and a 1,250-gpm aerial waterway, roll-up doors, slide-out tool trays, LED compartment lighting, twin front brow lights and a Federal Signal Q2B mechanical siren.
