The Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, better known as Cal FIRE, has taken delivery of several Boise Mobile Equipment (BME) Wildland Type 3s.

The Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, better known as Cal FIRE, has taken delivery of several Boise Mobile Equipment (BME) Wildland Type 3s. These apparatus are built on International 7400 4-door cab and chassis 4x4, powered by a Cummins ISL 350 hp engine and an Allison 3000 transmission. Equipped with a Darley JMP 500, two-stage pump and 1-½ AGE Auxiliary pump. They are also equipped with FoamPro 1600 foam systems 500-gallon UPF tanks with 20-gallon foam cells, Darley auxiliary pumps powered by 24-hp Kubota diesel engines and Whelen warning lights.
