The Rawlins Fire Department took delivery of this Type 3 pumper built by SVI and mounted on a Freightliner four-door chassis.

SVI built this Type 3 wildland unit for Rawlins Fire Department.

The rig is mounted on a Freightliner four-door chassis that is powered by a L9 Cummins 400-hp engine, and an Allison 3000 EVS transmission. It has a 197-inch wheelbase.

The rig has a Chelsea “Hot-Shift” pump-and-roll system with front-bumper ground-sweep nozzles and includes a Waterous CXS 1,250-gpm pump, 750-gallon Poly Water Tank, and a FoamPro 2001 Class A and B foam system.

Features include a Command Light KL Series Light Tower, cab step Hannay booster reel, Ziamatic horizontal ladder access system and an aluminum hose bed cover.
