The Clinton, NJ, First Aid & Rescue Squad has taken delivery of a 2018 Pierce heavy rescue built on a Velocity cab and chassis.

The Clinton, NJ, First Aid & Rescue Squad has taken delivery of a 2018 Pierce heavy rescue built on a Velocity cab and chassis with a 26-foot walk-in body. The unit has a raised roof cab, seating for six and has power cab steps. It is powered by a Cummins x15 600-hp engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission.  The front bumper has a 26-inch extension with a covered equipment tray and two hydraulic reels. It also features a Will-Burt light tower, an Onan 35,000-watt PTO generator, Holmatro rescue tools and a six-bottle breathing air cascade system.
