Philadelphia Fire Department Puts Rescue 1 in Service

Philadelphia Fire Department has a new Rescue, built by SVI Trucks. The technical rescue truck features an SVI-built 24-foot stainless-steel walk-in body mounted on a Spartan Gladiator EFMD chassis with a 20-inch raised-roof and is powered by a Cummins X15 500 HP engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission. It features six high-angle rescue anchor points, two Ramsey 9,000-pound electric winches, Fire Research Spectra Max LED scene lights, OnScene Solutions aluminum cargo slides, two 100-foot Hurst hydraulic low pressure reels, a FRC SEON inView 360° video system and an Onan 30,000-watt generator.
