Pumper With 65-foot Water Tower Delivered to Perry, Ga.

Firefighters with the Perry Fire Department selected Rosenbauer America to built their new $751,000 Engine 2, a pumper with a 65-foot Stinger High Reach Extendable Turret (HRET).

Firefighters with the Perry Fire Department received bids from four manufacturers and selected Rosenbauer America to built their new $751,000 Engine 2, a pumper with a 65-foot Stinger High Reach Extendable Turret (HRET).

The apparatus is built on a Rosenbauer RBM Commander cab and chassis, powered by a Cummins engine and an Allison transmission.

For firefighting, it has a Hale Qmax 2,000-gpm pump, a 750-gallon tank with a 20-gallon foam cell in addition to the water tower. Other equipment includes Whelen LED lights and a Federal Signal Q siren.

It was sold by Southern Emergency Products, Flinstone, Ga.
