Firefighters with Mays Landing Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, Township of Hamilton have taken delivery of a 2017 Pierce Enforcer Mega-PUC rescue-pumper. It has a four-door, six-occupant, climate controlled cab with a raised roof, full height rear doors, a Cummins 9 engine and an Allison transmission. To fight fire, it has a Pierce PUC 1,500-gallon pump, a 750-gallon UPF Poly III tank with a 30-gallon foam cell, a Huskey foam system, Trident Air Prime, and Tank Vision Pro lights. Other equipment includes, lighted hand rails, a Wil-Burt NightScan light tower, LED compartment lighting, Hurst extrication tools, Hannay reels, a Resolve Specialty Products Space Saver two-bottle fill station, a Federal Q2B siren and Whelen warning lights. It was sold through Fire & Safety Services, Piscataway, NJ. and the salesman was Sam Squire at a cost of about $657,000.
