Firefighters with the Riviera Beach, FL, Fire Dept. have put in service a Sutphen custom pumper.

Firefighters with the Riviera Beach, FL, Fire Dept. have put in service a Sutphen custom pumper. The new apparatus is powered by a Cummins ISL 9 450-hp engine and an Allison EVS3000 transmission. It has a 62-inch cab witha 10-inch half-raised roof. To fight fire, it has a Hale 1,500-gpm pump and a 1,000-gallon water tank with a 30-gallon foam cell. Other equipment includes an Elkhart foam eductor, Alco-Lite ladder complement, a Ziamatic electric ladder rack, Whelen warning and scene lights and a Federal Signal Q2B mechanical siren.
