    The Zoneton, KY, Fire Protection District have taken delivery of a KME Severe Service XLFD pumper.

    The Zoneton, KY, Fire Protection District have taken delivery of a KME Severe Service XLFD pumper. It has a 10-inch raised roof and powered by a Cummins ISX 12 500-hp engine and an Allison 4500EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Waterous 1,500-gpm single-stage pump and a 750-gallon water tank with a 40-gallon foam cell. Other equipment includes a Harrison 10,000-watt generator,
