Atlantic City, NJ, Airport Fire Department, has taken delivery of a 2017 Spartan Metro Star rescue-pumper.

Atlantic City, NJ,  Airport Fire Department, has taken delivery of a 2017 Spartan Metro Star rescue-pumper. It's built on a four door, six-seat climate-controlled cab, raised roof with full height rear doors. It is powered by a 450HP Cummins ISL engine and an Allison 3000EVP automatic transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale DSD150-23L single-stage pump, with an InControl 400 Pressure Governor, Trident Air Prime, Feecon around-the-pump foam system, Tank Vision Pro, 1.000-gallon UPF Poly Tank III water tank, with a 60-gallon foam tank. It's also equipped with Bostrom Firefighter seats, Kussmaul auto-eject, LED compartment lighting, Slidemaster tool trays, Hannay electric reel, Will-Burt Night Scan, R.O.M. shutters, Smart Power 6,000-watt generator, a TFT Blitz Fire, Hurst extrication tools, Paratec struts, Warn cable winch with receivers on all four sides, It's also equipped with a Pittsburgh Automotive 3-ton jack, Hannay air reel, front discharge, Federal Q2B mechanical siren, Whelen Pioneer LED scene lighting, Stokes rescue basket, Little Giant ladder. It was sold through Campbell Supply Company, South Brunswick, NJ. The salesman was Paul Sickler.
