The Lindsay, NE, Fire Department has taken delivery of a Toyne pumper built on a Peterbilt two-door cab and chassis.

The Lindsay, NE, Fire Department has taken delivery of a Toyne pumper built on a Peterbilt model 348 two-door cab and chassis. The pumper is powered by a PX-9 380-hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Waterous CSPA 1,250-gpm PTO pump, a 1,200-gallon UPF tank and a FoamPro 1600 Class A foam system. Other equipment includes Fire Research Corp. scene lights, an Akron Brass Apollo monitor.
