The Blue Ridge Volunteer Fire Company, Bluemont, Clarke County, VA, has taken delivery of a 2017 U.S. Tanker built on a Kenworth T800 cab and chassis.

The Blue Ridge Volunteer Fire Company, Bluemont, Clarke County, VA, has taken delivery of a 2017 U.S. Tanker built on a Kenworth T800 cab and chassis. It is powered by a Cummins 550-hp ISX15 engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission. For firefighting, it has a 3,000-gallon water tank with a stainless steel wrap, a Waterous CS 750-gpm pump and a Hypro FoamPro 2002 foam system with a power fill. It is also equipped with LED compartment lights, a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, a Zico portable tank rack, Newton 10-inch side and rear dump valves, a Federal Q2B siren, Whelen warning lights and Fire Research Corporation Spectra scene lights.
