The Nanjemoy, MD, Volunteer Fire Department in Charles County, has taken delivery of a Rosenbauer tanker built on a 2018 White Western Star 4900 EX cab and chassis.

The Nanjemoy, MD, Volunteer Fire Department in, Charles County, has taken delivery of a Rosenbauer tanker built on a  2018 White Western Star 4900 EX cab and chassis. It is powered by a Cummins 550-hp L15 engine with an Allison 4500EVP automatic transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale QMax 125-23, single-stage pump and a 3,500-gallon UPF Poly Tank III. It is equipped with a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, LED lights, a Zico electric, portable tank carrier with a 3,000-gallon Fol-Da-Tank. It also has three Newton 10-inch dump valves, a Hannay booster hose reel, a Back-Stop system, rear-facing camera, a 30,000-pound Warn winch, and a Federal Signal Q2B siren.
