Hope Volunteer Fire Company, in Northern Cambria, PA, has put a 2019 Sutphen Monarch heavy duty rescue-engine-tender in service.It is built on a four-door climate-controlled cab with seating for eight, a raised roof and full-height rear doors. It is powered by a Cummins 600-hp ISX15 engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Waterous CS 1,250-gpm single-stage pump, a UPF Poly Tank III 2,150-gallon water tank with a 50-gallon foam tank, a Class 1 Total pressure governor, and an Elkhart Brass Stingray manual deck. Other equipment includes a Kussmaul auto-eject, Alco-Lite ladder, Will-Burt NightScan 6000OPT light tower, Amdor roll-up doors, Genesis rescue tools, a 15,000-watt Smart Power generator, a Safety Vision camera system, Whelen scene and warning lights, a Powercall DX5200 electronic siren, Federal Signal Q2B mechnical siren and two Milwaukee M18 portable LED lights.
