Parkers Prairie, MN, Fire Department has taken delivery of a Midwest Fire side control tanker-pumper.

Parkers Prairie, MN, Fire Department has taken delivery of a Midwest Fire side control tanker-pumper. It is built on a Freightliner M2 106 chassis with a Cummins L9 350 hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a 3,000-gallon APR polypropylene tank and a Hale Qflo 1,250-gpm split-shaft pump. Other features include a rear Newton 10-inch square dump valve with a 36-inch telescoping chute, a Zico electric portable tank carrier with a 3,000-gallon portable tank, a RearView Safety camera, Whelen warning and scene lights and a Kussmaul air and battery conditioner.
