MERRIMACK, N.H. -- Authorities are investigating a suspicious fire that destroyed a home in Merrimack on Tuesday night.
The raging fire destroyed a house on Old Blood Road. One person was inside and was able to run to a neighbor's home to call 911.
Friends said his name is Tim Sullivan, and he is watching the house for his grandparents, who are in Florida.
Firefighters had trouble getting water to the site of the fire because it is located in such a rural area.
One firefighter was treated for minor injuries. It is still unknown where the fire started.
Police are looking into a report that someone was seen fleeing the scene.
