Massachusetts Firefighters Battle Blaze

A woman went into cardiac arrest Friday after a four-alarm fire at an apartment building in Revere.

NewsCenter 5's Gail Huff reported that the fire started in a building on Revere Beach Boulevard at about 3:30 a.m. A 45-year-old woman went into cardiac arrest. The victim's name was not released.

Several other residents were rescued from the second and third floors of the building, and some are reported to be in critical condition at area hospitals.

The cause of the blaze remained under investigation.
