Pennsylvania Station Gets Help Rebuilding
Ranshaw, Penn.-- About the worst nightmare of a firefighter must certainly would be hearing his or her home address pop up as the site of a fire. Not as bad (but still really, really bad) would be hearing the address of your fire station.
Which, of course, happened to the folks at the Brady Fire Company in the village of Ranshaw, Coal Township last month.
The fire company's station on Main Street in Ranshaw was leveled in the Aug. 16 fire.
Less than a month later, a local business, Affordable Signs and Graphics, has come up with a fundraiser that hopefully will help them rebuild.
They are selling decals for $12 and license plates for $15. Of that price, $5 will be given to the fire company.
You can order online at their Web site by clicking here..
Otherwise, the closest place to Sunbury where you can get one is at the Stonington Fire Company on Route 61.
