The gutsy daughter of a Manhattan firefighter who died in the 9/11 attacks has gone to Israel to see firsthand how people face the daily threat of terrorism.

The gutsy daughter of a Manhattan firefighter who died in the 9/11 attacks has gone to Israel to see firsthand how people face the daily threat of terrorism.

Tara Feinberg, 21, left yesterday as part of the healing process that's helped her cope with the death of her dad, Alan, a member of Battalion 9, on Sept. 11.

Her trip is being sponsored by Taglit-birthright Israel, a partnership between Israel and North American Jewish groups and philanthropists, providing educational trips to Israel for Jewish young people 18 to 26.
